Jul 29, 2022 · The air blows fine for awhile but then it sounds like it switches direction and isnt coming through the vents but blowing into the dash. 2011 F250 Ive looked on line to change the resistor but my 2011 F250 doesnt have the same resistor shown on all the videos.
Aug 25, 2013 · I have a 2000 model KW 900, air flow out the vents is very little, cleaned the filter & pulled out the blower & cleaned the heater core the best I could, no better. You can hear it make a noise when you switch from floor to vents like something is opening & closing but doesn't blow out floor vents very good either.
No faults. Logle said: My wife's Lexus does this. Its the AC vent actuator behind the dash that directs the air to either the front or feet vents. Over time it wears out and flutters and makes noise. Try changing the air flow from the control and if the sound changes, i think that's your culprit.
This has to do with NO AIR FROM DASHVENTS. The vacuum line that controls the dashvents is the YELLOW line from the push button control. The line ends up under the dash on the DRIVER SIDE. If you look up underneath the dash (you will need a light), you will see two vacuum solenoids.

After extensive research on Wrangler forums, i figured it was probably an issue with the blend door and not the selector. The blend door controls the flow of air from defrost vent, dashvent, floor vents, etc and not the blend of hot and cold air like I originally assumed. I called my local dealer and he confirmed that it sounded like a broken ...
